During the compilation of our 2-volume Great War Diary, "Life Went On", we had to reduce or omit completely many of the Raunds-related newspaper articles we had found.

So beginning this month (February) we bring you a new section, "Life Went On", where, over the coming months, these articles will be included in full.

Our three books have sold well but are all still available, either from "Brook Street News", Raunds, "Forget-Me-Not", Thrapston or the Wellingborough Museum giftshop, or by mail order.

Although our research into the military history of Raunds goes on .......

Our original project was funded by the Local Heritage Initiative, a national scheme that helped local groups to investigate, explain and care for their local landscapes, landmarks, traditions and culture. The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) provided the grant but the scheme was a partnership, administered by the Countryside Agency with additional funding from Nationwide Building Society.
